All of the reputable home insulation products we install work by insulating the fabric of your building to prevent heat transfer. Once the building is thermally efficient, we look at managing the air within your home to be warm in winter and cool in summer, providing you with a comfortable, healthy and energy efficient environment. These product solutions means considerable savings on your energy bill long-term, and by saving energy, you’re also making a positive difference to our planet.
After an initial assessment of your home, a Mark Group consultant will recommend the most appropriate home insulation system for you. Our recommendations could include several different products, each of which perform different functions to improve the thermal efficiency of your home.
- Rolls and batts – insulation that is installed in your roof cavity to help trap cool or warm air and keep temperatures more moderate, all year round.
- Blown insulation – loose wool fibre that is blown in around fittings and cavities to provide an extra level of insulation.
- Reflective foil for walls – which is wrapped around external timber frames and designed to prevent internal heat gain.
- Reflective foil tile underlay – which is applied to roofs, and is designed to prevent internal heat gain from radiated sunlight.
For optimal ventilation, our expert consultants may also recommend a Smartbreeze ventilation solution.
Located on your roof, Smartbreeze manages the air in your roof space to passively control the climate in your home.
Smartbreeze will purge hot air from your roof and home and redirect the warm or cool air into your living spaces whenever it can to achieve the desired room temperature. The Smartbreeze thermostat automatically regulates heating and cooling governed by the temperature you desire.
Smartbreeze can be programmed 24/7, using the sun’s energy during the day and a low voltage mains power option during the night, providing nocturnal cooling. Smartbreeze can also be used on its own or in conjunction with separate supplemental heating and cooling systems. These can be traditional or renewable energy systems.
Renewable energy will have priority over traditional systems, ensuring maximum energy savings are achieved through the Smartbreeze unit.
